The project „The innovative development of the textile cluster Astrico Nord-Est” aims at increasing the level of competition of the Astrico NE member companies, focusing on innovation and internationalisation. The project is lasting for 24 months (01.06.2018 – 31.05.2020) and it will operate in the field in which Astrico NE activates, the textile industry.
The general objective of the project is to develop 3 different elements: a strategy agenda based on research-development-innovation, the implementation plan and the strategy of innovation and internationalisation.
The following activities will take place:
- Innovation services offered to the members (innovation audits, assisting professional development by focusing on the transfer of knowledge), which will lead to an increase in specific innovation services offered to the member companies and the increase of the companies’ own innovation capabilities.
- Increasing the size and competencies of the existing work groups in the cluster and creating an RDI work group, as well as some thematic research groups which will lead to the development of cluster level RDI common projects and of new or significantly improved products/technologies/services which could be introduced on the external or internal market by the cluster’s innovation members.
- Specific training programs in innovation management for the management team and Astrico NE members which will lead to the development of cooperation, both within the cluster and between different clusters.
The project is following three main steps:
- Developing a strategic agenda of RDI
- Elaborating the implementation plan of this strategic agenda
- Developing strategies of expansion on the internal markets and entry on the external markets
The management team of the project consist of 3 members: project director, member realations expert, promoting expert.
